New Hampshire High School Softball - St. Thomas Aquinas sneaks past Newport
May 14, 2025: Dover, NH 03820 In Wednesday's league match, the host St. Thomas Aquinas Saints softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Newport Tigers.
The Saints (13-0) will now prepare for their match against Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH). The Hillcats come into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Hillsboro-Deering was nipped by Berlin (Berlin, NH), 16-12, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III match, on Wednesday, May 14. Newport will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 16-1 league win over Mascoma (Canaan, NH).
