Kentucky High School Softball - Simon Kenton bounces North Oldham
May 6, 2025: Goshen, KY 40026 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) and the host North Oldham Mustangs (Goshen, KY), observed Simon Kenton's softball team get by North Oldham by a tally of 7-3.
The Pioneers (19-4) will now prepare for their bout against Scott (Covington, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 8-13 record. In their last bout, Scott was routed by Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY), 9-5, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 7. North Oldham will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-11 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Mercy (Louisville, KY).
