The Edwards County Lions the visiting Webber Trojans softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Lions (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules go into the Black Diamond East battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Fairfield by Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL), 6-5, in a non-league battle.
