The St. Thomas More Cavaliers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Brookfield Academy Blue Knights to 8 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cavaliers (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Racine Lutheran/Prairie (Racine, WI). The Crusaders go into the Metro Classic match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Racine Lutheran/Prairie edged Kenosha Christian Life (Kenosha, WI), 23-2, in a non-league match.
