May 7, 2022: Rockford, IL 61109 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lockport Porters volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jefferson J-Hawks.
The Porters (23-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 10-17 record. In their last battle, Rolling Meadows achieved victory over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the J-Hawks encounter the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 7. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Storm come into the battle with a 17-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL).
