Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Guilford holds off Waterford
May 7, 2022: Guilford, CT 06437 The Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT) lacrosse tipped the visiting Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Guilford upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT) to battle the Rams in a Southern Connecticut outing on Monday, May 9. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 9-2. Cheshire won 17-6 in their recent league game against Xavier (Middletown, CT)
The Lancers (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs enter the Eastern Connecticut - Large game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Woodstock Academy was tipped by Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT), 16-13, in a league game.
