Maine High School Lacrosse - South Portland bounces Waynflete
May 7, 2022: South Portland, ME 04106 The crowd at Saturday's non-league game between the South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) and the visiting Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME), witnessed South Portland's lacrosse squad top Waynflete by a tally of 13-1.
The Red Riots now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Massabesic for a Class A South test on Monday, May 9. South Portland will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-5.
Next, the Flyers encounter the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a Class C game, on Saturday, May 7. Waynflete will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
