Iowa High School Soccer - Regina held off by Gilbert
May 7, 2022: Gilbert, IA 50105 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Gilbert Tigers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Regina Regals.
The Tigers (9-0) will now prepare for their bout against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Carlisle was nipped by Perry (Perry, IA), 5-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Regals battle the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 10. Regina will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
