May 7, 2022: Winneconne, WI 54986 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Winneconne Wolves (Winneconne, WI) and the visiting Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI), witnessed Winneconne's softball squad tip Appleton North by a count of 5-1.
The Wolves now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they host New London for a non-league match on Monday, May 9. Winneconne will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Shawano Community (Shawano, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Appleton North moves to 1-4 on the season. The Lightning host Appleton West (Appleton, WI) to meet the Terrors in a Fox Valley Association match on Tuesday, May 10. The Terrors go into the match with a record of 0-4.
