Blair-Taylor Wildcats (Blair, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they host Melrose-Mindoro for a Dairyland challenge on Tuesday, May 10.

With the loss, Elk Mound falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mounders travel to Boyceville (Boyceville, WI) to battle the Bulldogs in a Dunn - St. Croix challenge on Monday, May 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
