In Saturday's non-league contest, the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bluffton Tigers (Bluffton, IN), by a margin of 21-6.

With the triumph, Norwell moves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Knights host DeKalb (Waterloo, IN) to play the Barons in a Northeast Eight contest on Monday, May 9. The Barons come into the contest with a record of 5-9.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN) in a Allen County contest, on Tuesday, May 10. Bluffton will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 4-0 league win over Woodlan (Woodburn, IN).
