May 7, 2022: Pateros, WA 98846 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Curlew Cougars (Curlew, WA) and the host Pateros Billygoats/Nannies (Pateros, WA), witnessed Curlew's softball squad tip Pateros by a count of 13-9.
The Cougars now sport a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Almira-Coulee-Hartline for a 1B Northeast match on Saturday, May 7. Curlew will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 22-21 league win over Wilbur-Creston-Keller (Creston, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Pateros moves to 5-8 on the season. The Billygoats/nannies host Mary Walker (Springdale, WA) to meet the Chargers in a non-league match on Saturday, May 7.
