Illinois High School Softball - Sycamore bounces Glenbard South
May 7, 2022: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) and the host Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), witnessed Sycamore's softball squad prevail over Glenbard South by a count of 11-2.
The Spartans now sport a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to LaSalle-Peru for a Interstate Eight match on Monday, May 9. Sycamore will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Morris (Morris, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-4.
With the loss, Glenbard South moves to 7-6 on the season. The Raiders host Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to face the Sabres in a Upstate Eight match on Monday, May 9. The Sabres go into the match with a record of 1-13. Streamwood lost 18-1 in their recent league match against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
