May 7, 2024: DeWitt, NY 13214 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) and the visiting Horseheads Blue Raiders (Horseheads, NY), saw Jamesville-DeWitt's lacrosse team top Horseheads by a margin of 19-7.
The Red Rams (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Fayetteville-Manlius was overwhelmed by Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY), 15-8, in a non-league outing.
With the defeat, Horseheads drops to 8-5 on the season. The Blue raiders host Corning-Painted Post (Corning, NY) to battle the Hawks in a Section 4 STAC - West outing on Thursday, May 9. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Corning-Painted Post lost 14-7 in their recent non-league outing against Ithaca (Ithaca, NY)
