Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Longmeadow drops to Westwood
May 7, 2024: Westwood, MA 02090 Westwood Wolverines (Westwood, MA) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA), 16-5 in a non-league battle.
The Wolverines now have a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holliston for a Tri-Valley battle on Thursday, May 9. Westwood will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 11. Longmeadow will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Quakers come into the battle with a 13-1 record after their 17-4 league win over La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
