The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN) and the visiting Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN), saw Heritage Hills's baseball team gain a win over Evansville Reitz by a tally of 11-6.

The Patriots (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Rangers enter the Pocket battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Forest Park held off South Spencer (Rockport, IN), 11-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs (Evansville, IN) in a Southern Indiana battle, on Thursday, May 8. Evansville Reitz will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 3-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN).
