May 7, 2025: Festus, MO 63028 The Jefferson Blue Jays (Festus, MO) baseball trounced the visiting Grandview Eagles (Hillsboro, MO), 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Jays now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host St. Clair for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. Jefferson will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over New Haven (New Haven, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-11.
With the defeat, Grandview drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bishop DuBourg (St. Louis, MO) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Class 3 District 4 outing on Thursday, May 8. The Cavaliers enter the outing with a record of 7-7. Bishop DuBourg lost 10-0 in their recent league outing against St. Pius X (Festus, MO)
