The Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Fighting 59ers now possess a 25-4 record. They play next when they travel to Merrillville for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 14. Andrean will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 9-16.

With the loss, Morgan Township drops to 11-9 on the campaign. The Cherokees host Crown Point (Crown Point, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 10.
