The Avon Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting North Vikings to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now have a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Avon Lake for a outing on Friday, May 9. Avon will play a Shoremen team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Steele (Amherst, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 1-14.

With the loss, North drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to play the Black Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8.
