New York High School Lacrosse - Mynderse Academy drops to Avon
May 7, 2025: Avon, NY 14414 The Mynderse Academy Blue Devils lacrosse team (Seneca Falls, NY), was overwhelmed 18-9 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Avon Braves (Avon, NY)
With the victory, Avon advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY) to encounter the Red Raiders in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a record of 8-3.
The Blue Devils now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gananda Central for a Section 5 Finger Lakes II battle on Thursday, May 8. Mynderse Academy will encounter a Blue Panthers team coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY). The Blue Panthers record now stands at 0-8.
