Virginia High School Soccer - Kecoughtan knocks off Poquoson
May 7, 2025: Hampton, VA 23669 The Kecoughtan Warriors soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Poquoson Islanders to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gloucester for a Peninsula bout on Thursday, May 8. Kecoughtan will encounter a Dukes squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Poquoson moves to 4-7 on the year. The Islanders travel to Bruton (Williamsburg, VA) to encounter the Panthers in a Eastern Shore bout on Friday, May 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Bruton lost 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA)
