The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) and the host Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN), observed Andrean's softball team prevail over Washington Township by a tally of 12-2.

The Fighting 59ers (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Brickies go into the Northwest Crossroads bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Hobart was routed by Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 15-11, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Senators clash with the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN) in a Porter County bout, on Friday, May 9. Washington Township will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record.
