Michigan High School Softball - Freeland bested by Midland
May 7, 2025: Freeland, MI 48623 The Midland Chemics routed the host Freeland Falcons softball team by a final score of 18-9 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Chemics now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powers Catholic for a Saginaw Valley battle on Thursday, May 8. Midland will confront a Chargers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Davison (Davison, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Freeland moves to 6-7 on the season. The Falcons host Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI) to confront the Broncos in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. The Broncos come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Bark River-Harris lost 23-2 in their recent non-league battle against Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI)
