Alabama High School Softball - Woodlawn drops to Gardendale
May 7, 2025: Gardendale, AL 35071 Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Woodlawn Colonels (Birmingham, AL), 16-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Gardendale improves its record to 27-19 on the year. The Rockets travel to Oxford (Oxford, AL) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 16-16. Oxford lost 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Pell City (Pell City, AL)
The Colonels now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Brook for a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. Woodlawn will face a Spartans squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 15-30.
