Michigan High School Softball - Kent City sneaks past Morley Stanwood
May 7, 2025: Kent City, MI 49330 The Kent City Eagles softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Morley Stanwood Mohawks to 3 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chippewa Hills for a Central State Activities Association-Gold battle on Friday, May 9. Kent City will confront a Warriors team coming off a 5-3 league win over Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 15-8.
With the loss, Morley Stanwood moves to 10-4 on the season. The Mohawks travel to Fremont (Fremont, MI) to confront the Packers in a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. The Packers come into the battle with a record of 10-5.
