New Jersey High School Softball - Weehawken bounces Lakeland Regional
May 7, 2025: Wanaque, NJ 07465 The Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) softball routed the host Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), 8-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Indians now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Arlington for a NJIC - National outing on Friday, May 9. Weehawken will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 4-2 league win over Secaucus (Secaucus, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Lakeland Regional moves to 6-11 on the season. The Lancers host Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ) to play the Indians in a Big North - Independence challenge on Monday, May 12. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 9-6.
