The Champion Golden Flashes baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Pymatuning Valley Lakers to 6 in the Golden Flashes non-league win on Thursday.

The Golden Flashes now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey test on Monday, May 11. Champion will play a Pirates team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 14-3.

With the defeat, Pymatuning Valley drops to 8-8 on the year. The Lakers travel to Windham (Windham, OH) to play the Bombers in a non-league test on Friday, May 8. The Bombers go into the test with a record of 5-7.
