Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) and the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), saw Western Boone's baseball squad knock off Traders Point Christian by a count of 14-9.

Coming up next, the Stars play the Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) in a Sagamore battle, on Tuesday, May 9. Western Boone will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Hot Dogs enter the battle with a 11-9 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).

The Knights now possess a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they host Irvington Preparatory Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 9. Traders Point Christian will play a squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Eminence (Eminence, IN). The record now stands at 8-4.
