The Benet Academy Redwings held off the host Marian Catholic Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's league test.

The Redwings now have a 20-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles Notre Dame for a East Suburban Catholic test on Tuesday, May 9. Benet Academy will confront a Dons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Dons record now stands at 15-12.

The Spartans (21-6) will now prepare for their game against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers enter the East Suburban Catholic game with a 19-6 record. In their last game, Joliet Catholic nipped Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
