May 8, 2023: Oak Hall, VA 23416 Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets confront the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) in a Eastern Shore challenge, on Wednesday, May 10. Northampton will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Ponies enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 9-0 league loss to Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA).
The Firebirds now possess a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nandua for a Eastern Shore challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Arcadia will confront a Warriors team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.
