New York High School Softball - Ballston Spa bounces Niskayuna
May 8, 2023: Ballston Spa, NY 12020 Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), 10-2 in a league challenge.
The Scotties now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Ballston Spa will face a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Niskayuna falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Silver warriors host Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to face the Warriors in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Averill Park won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Colonie Central (Albany, NY)
