In Monday's non-league contest, the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) softball team held off the visiting Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI), by a margin of 8-7.

With the triumph, Hope moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Blue Wave host Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to play the Kilties in a Division 4 contest on Tuesday, May 9.
