Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lawrence North upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Pike (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Red Devils in a Metropolitan test on Thursday, May 9. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 7-11. Pike lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN)

With the defeat, Decatur Central falls to 8-13 on the season. The Hawks host Martinsville (Martinsville, IN) to battle the Artesians in a Mid-State test on Friday, May 10. The Artesians come into the test with a record of 2-18. Martinsville lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN)
