Virginia High School Baseball - Norcom loses to Varina
May 8, 2024: Richmond, VA 23231 The Varina Blue Devils baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Norcom Greyhounds to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Springers come into the Capital challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Highland Springs was overwhelmed by Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA), 6-1, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Norcom falls to 1-17 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to encounter the Truckers in a Eastern challenge on Friday, May 10. The Truckers come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Churchland lost 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Granby (Norfolk, VA)
