Washington High School Baseball - WF West defeats Ridgefield
May 8, 2024: Ridgefield, WA 98642 WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, WF West upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Columbia River (Vancouver, WA) to battle the Rapids in a non-league test on Saturday, May 11. The Rapids come into the test with a record of 17-6. Columbia River won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Tumwater (Tumwater, WA)
With the defeat, Ridgefield falls to 14-3 on the season. The Spudders host Mark Morris (Longview, WA) to battle the Monarchs in a 2A Greater St. Helens test on Saturday, May 11. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 13-6. Mark Morris won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Shelton (Shelton, WA)
