Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Triad upgrades its record to 1-18 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Northeastern (Springfield, OH) to battle the Jets in a Ohio Heritage North test on Friday, May 10. The Jets come into the test with a record of 6-10.

With the defeat, Ridgemont falls to 5-15 on the season. The Golden gophers host Temple Christian (Lima, OH) to battle the Pioneers in a Northwest Central test on Friday, May 10. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-11. Temple Christian lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Ada (Ada, OH)
