New York High School Lacrosse - Wayne overwhelms Midlakes
May 8, 2024: Ontario Center, NY 14520 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) and the visiting Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY), witnessed Wayne's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Midlakes by a tally of 17-12.
The Eagles now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Gates Chili for a non-league battle on Friday, May 10. Wayne will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-8.
In their next game, the Screaming Eagles clash with the Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 10. Midlakes will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Kings come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 21-9 non-league loss to Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY).
