May 8, 2025: DeKalb, MO 64440 Spectators at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Union Star Trojans (Union Star, MO) and the host DeKalb Tigers (DeKalb, MO), witnessed Union Star's baseball team knock off DeKalb by a count of 16-2.
The Trojans now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Gallatin for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. Union Star will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to South Holt (Oregon, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
With the defeat, DeKalb drops to 3-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Rock Port (Rock Port, MO) to clash with the Blue Jays in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Blue Jays go into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Rock Port won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO)
