The Fox Chapel Foxes baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Kiski Area Cavaliers to 1 in the Foxes non-league win on Thursday.

The Foxes now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shady Side Academy for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Fox Chapel will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.

With the defeat, Kiski Area drops to 4-14 on the year. The Cavaliers host Butler (Butler, PA) to play the Golden Tornado in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Golden Tornado go into the test with a record of 11-8. Butler lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Indiana (Indiana, PA)
