Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT), 7-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Harwood advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Highlanders host Lake Region (Orleans, VT) to battle the Rangers in a NVAC Capital A match on Saturday, May 10. The Rangers come into the match with a record of 0-2. Lake Region lost 9-5 in their recent non-league match against U-32 (Montpelier, VT)

The Olympians now have a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamoille for a non-league match on Saturday, May 10.
