May 8, 2025: Maywood, IL 60153 The Proviso East Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting ACERO Garcia Patriots to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Willowbrook for a West Suburban outing on Tuesday, May 13. Proviso East will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-24.
With the loss, ACERO Garcia drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Patriots host Cruz (Chicago, IL) to play the Dragons in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13.
