Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lyons drops to Maine South
May 8, 2025: LaGrange, IL 60525 Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), 12-7 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Maine South advances its record to 14-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, May 12. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 11-1. Crystal Lake Central won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record.
