Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) and the host Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL), witnessed Downers Grove North's lacrosse squad hold off Oak Park-River Forest by a count of 7-6.

The Trojans (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way Central nipped Lockport (Lockport, IL), 16-15, in a league contest.

Next, the Huskies meet the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 10. Oak Park-River Forest will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Scouts enter the contest with a 12-3 record after their 16-3 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL).
