May 8, 2025: Gilbert, IA 50105 Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Gilbert moves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host North Polk (Alleman, IA) to clash with the Comets in a Raccoon River test on Saturday, May 10. The Comets come into the test with a record of 12-1. North Polk lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Valley (West Des Moines, IA)
