Michigan High School Soccer - Watervliet knocks off Marcellus
May 8, 2025: Marcellus, MI 49067 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Watervliet Panthers (Watervliet, MI) and the host Marcellus Wildcats (Marcellus, MI), saw Watervliet's soccer squad triumph over Marcellus by a count of 7-0.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fennville (Fennville, MI). The Blackhawks enter the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Fennville was overwhelmed by Allegan (Allegan, MI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Comstock Colts (Kalamazoo, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 12. Marcellus will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bangor (Bangor, MI).
