The Fort Defiance Indians softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats to 7 in the Indians non-league win on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuarts Draft for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Fort Defiance will confront a Cougars team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
