Virginia High School Lacrosse - Oakton overwhelms Meridian

May 8, 2025: Vienna, VA 22181

Fans at Thursday's non-league test between the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) and the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), witnessed Oakton's lacrosse squad overcome Meridian by a count of 11-4.

The Cougars (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Concorde test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Westfield nipped South Lakes (Reston, VA), 6-5, in a league test.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern test, on Monday, May 12. Meridian will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 3-8 record after their 18-11 non-league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
