Iowa High School Soccer - Spencer knocks off Sioux City East
May 8, 2025: Spencer, IA 51301 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Spencer Tigers (Spencer, IA) and the visiting Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA), saw Spencer's soccer squad triumph over Sioux City East by a count of 10-1.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Knights enter the NWI Soccer League battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Unity Christian was overwhelmed by Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Black Raiders confront the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Missouri River battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Sioux City East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
