May 8, 2025: Shepherdsville, KY 40165 The Whitefield Academy Wildcats triumphed over the host Bullitt Central Cougars softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats play the Southern Trojans (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Whitefield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
The Cougars (7-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Bardstown was routed by Washington County (Springfield, KY), 21-10, in a league challenge.
