The Velva/Drake/Anamoose Aggies softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars to 3 in the Aggies league win on Thursday.

The Aggies now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horace for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Velva/Drake/Anamoose will confront a team coming off a 14-4 league win over Valley City (Valley City, ND). The record now stands at 7-3.
